    Hi,

I'm buying a e6540. I mostly play 720p movies. Will 720p movies play as good on 1080p screen as it would on 720p or the scaling issue would surely add a little viewing displeasure on FullHD when 720p movies are played?

Is there really a markable experience difference between HD and FullHD or its just high resolution to see more columns in spreadsheet and screen quality is more or less similar. I'll go HD in this case probably as it will be easier on eyes.

I had the 1920x1080 panel in my E6540 and I cannot go back to a lower resolution display now. You'd be insane to go for the 1366x768 display, it's awful.

Use good video player (e.g. MPC-HC) and the scaling will be fine.
