    Hi guys,

Just wondering how do I output to my 4k TV at that resolution. I'm using the HDMI port. When connected i'm just at the standard 1920x1080 resolution and have no way of changing it up to 4k.

    Windows 7 Pro,
    dell m4700
    Nvidia k2000m

That HDMI port could be too old. Do you know what kind it is? Like HDMI 1.4 or something?

Precision M4700 has HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2. You can output 4K via HDMI at 30 Hz, and via DisplayPort at 60 Hz. If you need 60 Hz to your TV, you will have to find a DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 adapter (assuming the TV does not have DisplayPort input).

I believe the HDMI port is 1.4 and should be able to output to 4k resolution. The question is how do i access that resolution i'm not seeing higher resolution selection when i go to change resolution.
