Hi, is there any built in hardware/card for E6400 so I can insert a 3.5G sim card and go online yet? I did read sony ericsson was building one for Dell. Any news on that? TQ
Btw, I do know LG have a small 10inch laptop that is 3.5G capable.. When will dell have it?

I've used a Sierra MC8775 and Option GTM380 HSDPA cards in my E6500 with sucess.

The GTM380 doesnt turn off with the radio switch, the MC8775 does.

The GTM380 does 7.2Mb/s, and uses two antennas, the MC8775 does 3.6Mb/s and uses only one.

Both are available for about $120AUD on fleabay.

Or ring up Dell and order the 5530 or 5520 as apropriate for your Telco and Locale of choice.
