1400 fan cleaning help please

    hi i'm a noob at this so i need some help, my vostro 1400's fan would always make these noise that sounds like something is stuck in the fan and i think its because of the collection of dust....so i need help to clean it but the bottom of the laptop has sooooooo many screws that i dnt even know which ones are the ones to open the whole laptop please help me

    I think you only need to go so far as to remove the palmrest if you want to do a thorough job. The fan and heatsink should be exposed by then. Otherwise you can probably just point some compressed air into the side or bottom fan vent and blast the thing. At the very least that should dislodge any debris that's actually stuck in the fan.
