    hey, im trying to back up data from one partition to another...(from drive c to e). but windows says i have to have permission to perform this action...i'm the administrator btw.i tried going into command prompt and setting the permissions as active but this did not do anything..anybody can help me here??? im the admin, of course i need to have all the permissions!! :mad: wth MS?? :mad:

    Did you tweaked your System?
    Windows 7 is very sensitive, it can't be tweaked generally.
    I experienced this if I tweaked the System.

    By the way, did you try to restart the laptop and try again?

    If still can't, you can contact MS. Or, the other here might help.

    If your file is very urgent, try, Ubuntu Live CD. Copy the file from C to D easily without problem at all.

    hey guys, i found out the problem. the bootcamp partition allows me to read from the os x partition only and not write....that's why i was having all these problems...thanks for your kind help.
