    Please HELP!!

Having problems installing xp on a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V7010

Tried a clean install after losing loads of e-mail, thought it may be a virus. Anyway did the usual boot from CD etc (using the original XP SP2 disc that came with the machine) and it loaded drivers etc but after that at the point where it asks to ENTER to continue, F3 to repair or ESC to quit, it just hangs and will not continue regardless of any key pressing.

So I thought maybe a dodgy hard drive, so I got a new one and tried that and guess what, exactly the same happens. I've tried other XP discs and still nothing.

I've ran out of ideas so any advice you guys can offer is very much appreciated.

    Thanks

Are you using the disk that came with the laptop or one of yours?

If it's a problem with the keyboard (which i doubt) you could always try to get one of the unatended editions of XP that comes with extra drivers, otherwise try using the CD that came with the laptop or even call your customer support.

I remember the same happened when i tried to install Windows 2000 on a laptop 2 years ago :D
