The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    has anyone tried skydrive?
    how secure is it?

    It is alright... nothing to write home about... but it is a lot smoother than most upload/download services.

    It is about secure as the password you use... I mean, really, I would not put any company secrets or my tax info (with SS#) in the service (or any online file storage service for that matter).

    For general files (powerpoint you want to give out to a team) or pics it works great....
