nVidia's stock drivers on their website have never been very laptop friendly. Even their laptop-specific drivers seem to have some limits. The best bet is to get the video drivers from www.laptopvideo2go.com.

The ones on the nVidia site work great, did you get the mobile drivers?

I second the nvidia drivers working well for me, and i have the DDR2 version of your card and have no problems in vista/xp/W7. that overclock you mention in your sig, is that the card / setup you are having problems with?

For some reason the installer doesn't see the my 9600M GT (Acer), I had to install them from the Device Manager via the inf. I left NVIDIA feedback on this issue and I see they still haven't fixed it. Make sure though your notebook is supported, mine is, there is a list of one's that aren't on thier Web Site.

Yes, thats the card I am talking about that listed as OC....

Guys tell me one thing for past 6months they supported my card for windows vista 32 as well as 64 edition then why not in windows 7 deosn't that sound wierd..

I tried from laptopvideo2go.com same error all time windows 7 OS not found...How is that possible because my audio drivers installed no issue at all which were meant for win7 OS.......Don't understand why not display driver...

The error I get is display drivers cannot find the OS but the Nvidia HD Audio driver deos find the os and it only allows me to install the audio hd drivers and not the display drivers along with it....

I did exactly the default INF setup and got aero effect and Windows benchmark done....But when I tried to play a blue ray disc on my cyberlink blue ray player----I got error VGA Card contains wrong driver....Please download appropriate drivers for the VGA Card and try back.....

Help, I have windows 7 RC 64-bit because I have 4GB RAM and the 32-bit version is limited to 3GB Ram.....Help appreciated

sorry, i really have no idea :(
or maybe, did you try running the installer as administrator and maybe also in Vista compatibility mode? Comp. mode doesn't really make sense but you could try anyway.

tried all suitable modes but none is working from the setup.exe file apart the Nvidia HD Audio drivers do install except display driver.....Its really wierd...
Already requested nvidia in feedback to make entirely sure to include full support for RC version of windows 7....All I can say lets hope the upcoming drivers will not have issues..

Between what are the rumours going around like windows 7 with following biulds
    -7137
    -7201
    -7225
    -7227
    -7229
    &
    -7230

Are all these fake or real cuz I checked at microsoft official web page and they are still only supporting download for biuld 7100 only.

If above biulds are real which one has got a major change noticable as compared to 7100 biuld.....Also, download link would be appreciated cause I cant find the P2P links for these download

    Regards

Dream Scene used too much hardware resources in Windows Vista.
