Hey, I just got my new d900f and I was quite enjoying all the aero functions. but then suddenly aero got disabled, and even if I go to costumize and choose an aero theme again, it does not come back.
I was just surfing, installing winrar and stuff... and then aero was at some point suddenly gone.

i tried the fix-aero problems link below, didn't help, no problems found.

any ideas how to get it back?

If you have tried all the above, then do a System Restore. I have had the same thing happen to me in Vista, and a System Restore/Startup Repair fixed it.

If a restart fixes your issue then next time it happens open up services and restart Desktop Window Manager Session Manager.

    thanks for the help,
A restart didn't do it, but after I had windows re-do the windows index, I could switch aero back on by selecting an aero theme just like that.
    weird...
