This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     will 7's mail client import mail from XP's Outlook Express?

    I have XP on my home computer, and I use Outlook Express for email. Is there a way to get email imported into 7's email or should I consider switching to an alternate email such as Mozilla?

    W7 lacks a built in email program so I'm using Windows Live Mail

    After installing and setting up your account go to file, import, messages and choose Outlook Express. Direct it towards the folder holding your Outlook files
    Example:
    C:\Documents and Settings\ USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities
