This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    is this a new "feature" or something of vista?

    i have myspace playing a song, notebook review in another tab, using firefox.

    if i go to NBR, the music from myspace stops playing.

    ALSO- if i minimize firefox in the myspace screen, it stops playing... what is going on here!!!?? this doesnt seem normal. but my CPU and RAM isnt either...

    the CPU meter shows about 80% and the RAM is 84%.. im making back up discs now

    Did you check the Volume Mixer? Right click volume icon on tray and click open volume mixer. See whats there.
