    where to get vista icons?

    Anyone know a software that will automatically replace xp icon with vista? Or steps on how to? Thanks

    Actually you could. Use a software called Icon Tweaker (google it). I also downloaded an icon package called Vista High FX, which gave me all those nice looking one from Vista

    yeah that will do sometimes..... but it can prove useless when you cannot log in to your windows because VTP remove your explorer.exe and msgina.dll.... and you are left with one choice.... REINSTALL your XP!!!

    You can also google the "Vista Anthrazite Theme Pack". I've been using this for a month now and looks good. It also includes Vista icons.

    No transformation pack... I tried using VTP before and it came with some nice viruses and corrupted cabinet (after reformat and deleted viruses). Thanks everyone for the help.

    Steps to replace XP icons with Vista ones

    1. Buy Vista Upgrade.

    2. Place DVD in drive. Install. Enter product key when prompted. Wait half an hour.

    3. Login to Vista. All new icons!


    Sorry, couldn't resist a smarta$$ response. Just ignore me. I really don't have any useful advice for you.
