    I'll buy a laptop offering a Genuine Windows Vista® Business 32-bit with SP1 /XP downgrade;

    What does it mean, Does it mean i'll have installed vista and another windows XP CD or what. or it just mean i could install XP on my machine

    The laptop is sony vaio SR390 CTO

    My SZ7 is the same without SP1 :)

    This means that you get Vista pre-installed, you need to create your own recoverys discs by the way.

    Also, with Business you get the right to downgrade to XP.
    For this the XP installation CD is (should be) icluded.

    You can use the key underneath your Vaio to instal either XP or Vista.

    (I don't think you are legally allowed to dual boot - but I can be wrong, as it would be the same machine)

    It is illegal, also it will not be activated once one or the other licence key has been used :D
