so i´m right now downloading & installing the vista sp2 x64 via windows update. I didnt saw any topic with this so i thought i would start one.

Anyone found any performance changes? Didnt installed it yet. Also i thought about a complete format c: + reinstall with sp2. You guys think this would be better than just updateing?

thanks and hf download it ! :>

I don't feel any difference with SP2. It's basically all the accumulated updates since SP1.

Vista SP2 x64 increased by restart and shut down times by 3 minutes. I uninstalled it, and my system shuts down quickly again.

Vista manages start up files, with the new service pack it will take some time before it optimizes again. As for shutdown I haven't noticed any issues.
