    virtual drive in vista?

    some how i can not get daemon or virtual clone drive to work. It installs but can no see the drive. I tried searching on google for hours and got no answer. I tried uninstalling and installing back and forth couple times using different versions and no work.

    anybody know what i'm doing wrong?

    I use Alc 120 and demon tools pro v4.10.0218 and they both work like a dream in VistaU 32bit and in my desktop which is vistaU 64bit.

    I already set up a virtual drive through it and it works perfectly. Lets you make ISOs too, its layout is exactly like alcohol 120%. It feels like an updated alcohol 120%.
    Its the perfect program, and you could get it for free; that GAOTD version is not the freeware version, its is a full version; only catch is you won't be able to update it if the company upgrades anything. No registration needed!

    I'm running it on 64-bit Vista Home Premium.

    I also dont have problem running daemon tool in vist 32bit

    my other laptop runs daemon and virtual clone drive fine. But this 6831 I just got is giving me trouble. Still can not get it to work

    After you open daemon tools and the icon appears in the system tray, right click it go to virtual cd/dvd rom, set number of devices then make sure it isn't disabled.
    I'd also uncheck automount but thats more of a personal preference and upto you.

    If you want to use Daemon tools, you must run it as administrator when you start the setup. Right click on the exe and select the option. Have fun!
