Are any of you using a system utility suite or windows tweaker? Right now I have Norton System Works 2005, and I'm happy with the features I'm using, but I'm looking for something that has a little bit more in erms of optimization and customization. A good complement rather than a substitution to Norton. I read about TuneUp Utilities, Advanced System optimizer, and System Mechanic ... what works best?

I would rate tune xp and system mechanic as both being very good utilities i use both and their very good, and also registry mechanic is worth a try, it's always good to have a healthy registry! hope that helps.

Yes, TuneXP 1.5 is awesome. Best little tweaker out there - and it's free. Majorgeeks.com has it. I download from there all the time.

I also manually edit my registry to do performance tweaks....but that's terribly dangerous....
