    I know this is a little late in the game but I've been really busy. When IE7 came out I remember hearing some bugs. Now I am constantly being notified by those update programs to install IE7.

    Anyone have any problems with it?

    I am still using 6.0.2900 with SP2.

    I did do a search of the forum... but there were so many posts using the term Interent Explorer 7 that after about a dozen I gave up. Sorry if this has already been discussed.

    IE6 has more bugs than IE7. In my opinion at least.

    I used the beta then upgraded to the final IE7. No problems with either. But then again, I use Firefox 95% of the time.

    I work in a call center and we get alot of calls from people that have issues with IE7. Some of them are people who got the automatic update for IE7 but are still only running SP1. I don't know if MS fixed that one especially since IE7 requires SP2 to be installed.

    @Justitia
    To disable (or turn off) the phishing filter you can to go Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced

    Then scroll down and you will find the Phishing Filter options. Here you can either just turn it off or disable it entirely. I disabled it on my machines.

    Oh and I don't use IE7 on a daily basis. I'm a firefox person.

    Some of your legacy CSS will appear to be buggy on IE7.

    Also, there are Flash compatibility issue on some websites. I am running Flash 8 on IE7 and everything works fine. After installing Flash 9 hinders me from viewing old Flash sites.

    I've been using IE 7 for a while now and I really like it. I think Microsoft finally got the point to make IE good again. But I do admit that it doesn't support all the cool addons like what Firefox has.

    Its a big improvement certainly but I still prefer other browsers for features and appearance but if your gonna have IE on a system you definetly want the latest and safest

    I tried it and went back. Too many bugs; certain websites would not work properly, a disapprearing toolbar, yahoo games were made inoperative. A piece of useless bloated junk. Tabs and heightened security just were not worth it to me.

    we r talking about IE7 - right?
    not so much of a fan of IE (98% FF usage), i must give a top note for microsoft on this IE7. It did have some issue during the beta but the last official version is nothing but stable and improved

    cheers ...

    I never had a problem with IE7 either. Back when I was testing Vista all I used was IE7 and I never had a problem with any websites. I have more problems with Firefox since some pages will only work in IE, but I still use other browsers 99% of the time. I would suggest that if you want a good, secure browser, to run Firefox 2. But if you have to have IE on your machine (which you do if you want to do Windows Update), then IE7 is the way to go. It's much better at blocking pop-ups and keeping spyware off your computer.
