I got my Asus G1 about a month ago and I've lived with the fact that I can't view some videos online because I always get "unknown plugin (application/x-mplayer2)" but now it's just annoying. What is this "plugin" that I need to get? Some help please...

According to Mozilla, that relates to Windows Media Player or VLC. Both should configure Mozilla plugins automatically, but if they do not, try reinstalling (or upgrading) to the latest version of Windows Media Player, or try installing VLC, you may be missing a codec which VLC might install.

It's a plugin problem with Firefox/Mozilla. You'll need to get the proper plugin. Try this link:

    You could try reinstalling Firefox/Mozilla.

I don't know how you install your apps, but you could try using the default administrator account instead of whatever account you created when installing apps. Don't know if that will help, but it's worth a shot.
