I have my laptop connected to a sony receiver via HDMI. I prefer to have the ac3/dts passthrough option on because I have a lot of videos with dolby ac3 stereo and I have the option to use Dolby Pro Logic with the reciever. Sometimes I just want to use the laptop speakers or headphones and not my TV, I just realized that I have to turn off the passthrough option to hear the audio of my laptop speakers. I don't like the idea of changing that setting everytime I want to use my laptop to watch videos, what can I do?
