Is there a movie desktop or screen saver that is like the main menu of the game "Black" or like the menu for the movie "Max Payne"? Free would be best.

I'm not sure of any free screen savers for the things you mentioned. However, you can try manually making one yourself.

If you have a video editing software that has screen/audio capture (I use Magix Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus and it has this), you can just capture the certain segment of the film or part of the game (menu, cutscene, etc.) you want.

Just edit the clip, then you can convert it with a software that converts video formats to SCR. I'm not sure of any free ones, but there are many paid, shareware, trial ones you can checkout. A couple are on TopShareware.

Just an option if you really need those screensavers...

Actually Clutch, you may not need a Video Editing software anymore with such function. Sorry, I forgot to mention that there are actually existing free programs which allow for Screen Capture (Image and Video) which you could probably use to get the video file.

Here are a few you may want to check out:
    CamStudio
    Freez Screen Video Capture
Free Screen Video Capture by Topviewsoft
    HyperCam

All these programs should output to AVI or Streaming Flash (SWFs). You can probably output to AVI and convert those into SCR files with those converters I mentioned in my previous post.
