    screen flickering in vista on transition

    i think the title is pretty descriptive...
    the screen will flicker or get distorted while the windows animation is in progress... it lasts for maybe a split second (just while the animation is taking place) so its not really too much of a problem, but it is annoying.

    i thought at first it was because i overclocked my graphics card so i dropped it back to stock but its still happening... :$

    anyone know how this is fixed?

    Not that I can help you but for clarification are you talking when you boot up?

    My screen flickers with a funny line through it for a moment before the new round windows symbol appears on boot up.

    I just think thats the driver getting loaded.

    I was just curious.

    oh i think it happens there too, but i also mean every time there's a windows transition (maximize/min, fades, etc--usually with programs, not context menus). at least, 90% of the time.

    I have XP and mine does that sometimes. I think its the drivers.
