Microsoft's RegClean is getting a bit dated, but is still pretty good. They don't support it anymore. But it works well and is free. Despite its age it's still the #4 most popular registry cleaner on MajorGeeks. See others here- http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?id=15&sort=25

Registry Mechanic looks like it has some decent reviews, but i've never used it. I think it's a free download, but since they have a purchase option, the download is probably time or number of use limited.

EasyCleaner is well like its name. Easy to use and as far as I can tell, does a good job. I've used it for yrs and no problems.

    tuneup utilities 2006 for me.
I have it scheduled to do a weekly scan, and other utilities are nice too, although there are probably free alternatives that get the job done, I like that it is an all in one solution :)
