Never knew there was such a switch, I just do it manually by editing the .ini.

There are two switches, one for XP, one for Vista. You using the right one?

    HUD.Vision\Black\Switch.White-Black is where it is.
yes, i am using the vista ini (im using vista btw)

when i click the button, all the skins disapear for a few seconds then get reloaded.

*Edit - how do you just edit the .ini?

Its right there, towards the bottom of the config list.. as in picture.

Open it in notepad, make the change you want and save it. Make sure you know what you are changing, so you can go back to the original settings if you dont like the change. Oh btw, make sure you have full control over the rainmeter folder, to make changes to the ini file :)

Well, afaik, you don't have to change anything in the ini file. Just chose the config, you'll see the white/black on the desktop and click on which ever you want. Doesn't it work that way?

Well, I just tried. There is a white/black on the desktop when I enable the switch config. When I click on black (while I have the white config originally) all the theme changes to black, and vice versa. It take a few seconds to change though.. but it works.

Well, I'm on Vista. Btw, are you sure clicking on the 'black' or 'white'? Sometimes, it happens that its bit difficult for me to click on the theme, but instead end up clicking on the desktop.

Also, are you sure you don't have the 'click through' enabled?

i know im clicking on something because the skins all disappear for a few seconds, then load back in their original colors.
also, click through is not on

Strange. Have you tried exiting / restarting rainmeter? Or may be a reinstall?

Also don't click on something random :p j/k

Also which one did you chose? the plain black/white switch config or the switch fotvista config?

By the way, once u made the switch, have you tried refreshing the skin? Just thinking of possible ways to sort this out.
