right now im dualbooting with vista 64bit and windows 7 32-bit without any problems. i have each on a seperate partition, vista with 200 gb and windows 7 with 100gb.

i dont know if its possible, but if i have a game installed on one partition (vista partition) or even a file like music or something can i use it through windows 7? is there a way i can get access to the files on the other partition? i can see the partition through my computer on the vista OS but not through the windows 7 OS.

if i cant, i dont really care ill just put everything on the two partitions.

    thanks

Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk Management and then assign the Vista partition a drive letter. You'll be able to share files just fine, but you'll have to install games (to the the vista partition, so you don't get 2 copies of the game on your computer).

Did you try installing programs to the path of E:/Program Files/... or whatever drive letter you assigned your Vista partition while in Windows 7?

But don't uninstall it from Vista, that would just make it unplayable in Vista.

ok i think i know what your saying. if its installed in vista, should i reinstall it in windows 7, but install it to the vista partition so the files are in the same place. but i can play it on both OS's?

if it is im going to try that.
