    power plan automatically sets to high performance

    when either on battery, nor plugged in,
    the windows power plan turns to "high performance" about a few moments after i selected power safer/balanced.
    this is annoying cus i wanna safe some power during on the go sessions and alike
    pls help ppl

    I've got this same issue with my Samsung Series 5 Ultrabook 530U3C with Windows 7/8.1 but the thing automatically sets to power saving mode on battery power.. It's bloody irritating!

    The assuming, if it uses the Samsung software, will do that. There may be options in the power manager to help ubt you will need to go there or start selectively removing software so that the stock power management handles it and then do the stock mods/settings.

    Yes. These posters need to go into the OEM-provided applications and set the power plans there. For Sammies the application is called "Samsung Easy Settings", I believe. Just start typing Samsung in the Search Box, and you should find the application you need. My usual disclaimer applies: If this is Windows 8.x, then I don't know.
