    I know vista has this sort of thing and I was wondering if it was possbile to do it on xp?

    Mhh... Don't know if it can be done, but don't do it on a USB stick plzz.. It'll die faster than you can say 'write cycles'.

    And it sounds like an overall bad idea (lag, overhead, speed...)

    Yes, Vista's 'SuperFetch' will use USB drives to cache hard-drive data. A HD cache, however, is not quite the same as a page file.

    Anyone remember creating RAM drives back in the old DOS days? ;D
