    Hi,

I'm using winamp 5.541. As can be seen from the picture below, one of my artists is showing up twice.

however, in windows explorer, the artist field of each files properties is set to the same value.

I would like to merge both albums to a single artist entry in winamp. Any help is appreciated. thanks.

Highlight all the music by Tower of Power, delete the Artist name, and re-type the whole name.

One likely has an extra space or other invisible character somewhere causing them to be read as separate entries. Let me know if that works.

How about selecting the songs, right click > "send to auto-tag" option? doesn't that get in the artist name, and once they are all the same, its more easy.. Isn't it?

Drag one artist name in the tree onto the other one, that usually does the trick
