The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    hey,, i just noticed.... after a bit that i was missing some icons on my desktop....

    haha

    My computer and My Documents icons went missing. I don't remember deleting em.. I added shortcuts in their place but can someone tell me how to bring back the origional icons (actual ones not shortcuts)..

    right click on your desktop and select properties. Select Desktop tab, then customize desktop. Check the boxes that correspond to the icon that you want :)
