    new Zune 3.0 software won't connect

    I've downloaded the new zune 3.0 software last night and it won't connect to marketplace. and it's getting on my *** **** nerves :mad: . i can't sync my zune because it can't download the update for the hardware. it's not my internet connection or computer. I've re downloaded 2.0 and it connected fine :confused: .
    please help

    Had a similar problem - Make sure under your regional options, the location tab is set to US and hasn't defaulted to something else.

    Because Marketplace is only available in the S - if this isn' set properly it won't work.

    how to i change it to the us because i live in texas
    i checked in the control panel and it is set to the US

    Hmmm, I assume you restarted your computer? As well, what OS?


    I installed 3.0 then restarted computer, and once my Zune was connected, it auto updated and auto synced. Using Vista.

    vista and like 20 times. but a few days before there was something wrong with my internet but i fixed it and my other applications can see the internet

    by any chance are you using a PS3 controller on your PC? That has been known to mess with the Zune.

    have you submitted a ticket with the Zune team? And/or posted on the official zune forums?

    The day it came out, I had no problems downloading and installing. Worked the first time, quickly too.

    finnaly i foudn the fix i ealized that it had somethign to do with ur profile. go to settings then click on the device tab after that u will see a tab called linking. after that restart ur zune software and its fixed

    Sorry to hijack this thread but....


    I've got 3 ipods: 1 GB Shuffle, 20GB U2, & 160GB Classic. I hate itunes.

    I've heard/read that the Zune has better audio. I am considering getting an 80GB (I like the red model) or 120GB Zune because they have been on sale of late. Would I be happy with it and the Zune software? For earphones I use Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 Pro & Shure E3C.
