    Ok.... i went to a computer place and they told me i need a driver.
    The problem is where do i find these??

    well thats it i think... any links to drivers would be great. I really need the drivers cause school is getting closer :eek:

    For the pioneer dvd drive vista should install the driver by itself.

    A lot of times those devices will reinstall themselves if you completely remove them and reboot. I suggest right-clicking on those items in your Device Manager, and choosing uninstall. Go through the uninstall for each drive, and then reboot the machine. Once the machine reboots, the OS should autodetect the drives and install them. If that doesn't work, let us know!

    It's not usually an actual driver problem, per se. One fix is to find the "UpperFilters" and "LowerFilters" key in the registry, delete them, reboot, and it should work.

    thx for your guys help, but i got the solution already :D

    i went to sony's support website and just looked for my module. After that it automatically listed me downloads (drivers)... so i just got the one i wanted ;)
