    Greetings

having changed my hard drive on my Toshiba satellite model A135-S2356, it was running vista now there is XP pro with sp2 and sp3 installed. I was able to locate the sound driver but thats it. cannot connect to wifi and the display is bad. after searching the web and not finding anything, I'm almost at wits end. none of the machines hardware websites are a help either.

the specs on my laptop are attatched.

It had Vista installed on it?! That laptop was not designed to run Vista - it's a XP machine.

You'll need to use another computer to get the proper drivers - or you can find the WiFi driver at least if you're strictly using that for internet access, then use that laptop to run Windows Update and find whatever drivers the update doesn't detect and download.

Does the Device Manager show the name of the devices that are not installed/have no driver?

If not, try using this for reference: unknowndevices - A utility to identify "Unknown Device" devices in Microsoft Windows - Google Project Hosting

The info that shoots back to you will allow you to do a Google search for the proper driver. Or you can try downloading DriverPack Solution, burn it to a disc, and then run it on your Satellite and hope it has the drivers in it's database.
