This friday I reset the password on my laptop and I made a hard to guess password so my family members won't try to sneak in. But today I tried logging in and ****, I can't even figure out the password my self. i haven't made a reset disk at all, i went into safe mode and tried booting into admin to see if i can get somewhere, but no that won;t work neither..

what can i do here? i really do not want to reinstall vista on it, i have all my papers on this....help!

You're S.O.L! It is not allowed to discuss here.

A bit of advice though, DO NOT install ANYTHING (or store anything) other than an O.S on it's partition, because if you have to format the O.S, all your important data is safe.

Why are you scared of your family? This thread will be closing soon. One more advice don't play with passwords.

As others have said you can't discuss that here. But next time you should write down your password or make it easier for you to remember.

I am sorry but we dont allow the discussion of bypassing security measures on NBR for any reason.

    Happy Holidays.
