    limewire pro lag?

    i am getting lots of lag when i use limewire pro. anyone know why? i just reformatted my comp so everything is new.

    Ports should have nothing to do with Limewire causing lag. I am assuming you're talking about Internet lag. Have you already downloaded files using Limewire? Chances are people are uploading from you at maximum speed, using up all of your upload bandwidth making websurving etc. really slow. Simply set up you upload bandwidth slot in Tools>Options>Uploads>Basic.

    How fast is your internet connection? Does your PC meet the minimum requirements of Limewire Pro?

    it lags my whole computer not just the internet. i am dsl internet, and only like 2 files in limewire that i have been able to download

    If it lags your computer:

    Do you have a good HDD?
    How much memory is the program taking during use?
    how many concurrent connections do you have at a time

    Does your computer have at least 64MB of RAM? What version of Windows are you using?
