being that alot of dell laptop users seem to be going with MCE xp... was wondering if anyone has tried using latest versions of MSN messenger??

recently got e1705 with MCE xp. comes with windows messenger 4.7. seems to have alot less features then MSN messenger 7.5.

has anyone run MSN messenger on MCE xp on thier new dell notebook?
hows it run if at all?

I just received my M1210 and downloaded MSN live. The first time I ran the program I got the blue screen serious error. I rebooted and now it just keeps looking for a connection. Anyone else have problems?

I am running Win XP pro

i have 6400 and MCE xp and am running the latest version of msn no problems

if you have connection problems, try windows zero configuration wireless (windows wifi managine software). i find that windows does a pretty good job of that and is better then the intel stuff.

all you need to do is right click the intel icon at the bottom right and click "use window zero configurtaion wireless"

    Windows Live Messenger (Build 8.0.0792.00)

stable on the M1710 running MCE

    Download via: http://get.live.com/messenger/overview

*Mento - be sure you use the Add/Remove Program --> Add/Remove Windows Components feature to remove MSN 4.7.

Just reformated by new 640m; WLM which worked fine on my old desktop just keeps searching for a connection now. If you go through Tools > Options > Connection, it says there's no connection issues at all - but, WLM refuses to log-on. Quite frustrating! I think it was 8.0.0812 somethingsomething

would anyone know how to remove msn, delete it forever, can't stand to even look at the icon, i have it disabled, but can't remove it in add/remove programs, it does't show up to remove.
