    Hi

    Hi

I got my new battery fo my laptop today - plugged it in, and the orange blinking led lit up again. Guess the problem isn't the battery. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Have you tried calling Dell?

On the old Toshiba's, a flashing battery LED usually indicated a battery that's not charging (dead) or completely depleted (brand new). In the case of a new battery, you may just have to leave it like that for a while and eventually it starts to charge (works on the old Toshiba's but may be different on the Dell's). You may want to try calling their support, they should be able to tell you exactly what the problem is.
