I want to turn on the genius feature on my ipod but it requires that you synchronize your entire music library through itunes with genius and then synchronizing your music library with your ipod. The only problem with this is that I have never organized my music library through itunes. I'm not gonna start now because the only reason I started using itunes to begin with was so I could turn on genius.

Is there some kind of workaround for this? is it possible to synchronize the mp3 data on your ipod to itunes so i don't have to give the feature up?

    thanks for any help :)

i'm probably misunderstanding you - but if not with itunes, how did you get your music onto your ipod?

Lots of other programs will sync with an ipod - songbird is what I use, but Winamp is another that I know does it.
