I have a Dell Studio, with Vista 64. When I insert an SD card into the slot, nothing happens. I go to "Computer", and see the SD icon, but when I double click it, or right click, I get a "not responding" message, and after waiting, I get a pop up that asks me to insert a SD card in the drive. Any help would be appreciated!

Try a different SD card? If the same problem appear, that drive could be broken. Test a few things. It's too hard to tell because it could be a lot of things.

Sometimes it could be a USB suspend/resume issue. Change power plans and see if the problem persists.
