This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    internet explorore 7 not working properly

    since i installed the google toolbar and the adobe flash player for youtube, IE will start to say that it cant find webpages, even though i am still downloading stuff from steam. all i have to do is restart IE, but it happens every minit or so... help!

    Perhaps you can try FireFox and see if you still have the same problem. Note that GoogleToolBar is also available for Firefox.

    i've tried to download it, but it sometimes redirects me to other sites that obvyosly aren't the firefox site, so i am kind of weary to try and download it...

    You might try loading "Internet Explorer (without add-ons) located in system tools to see if the problem is IE or an add-on.

    You are most likely infected, and your hosts file is also probably hacked up but good. Do a complete virus/adware/spyware scan.
