    Hi everyone

Anyone else having problem installing 169.28 both from laptopvideo2go and nvidia stock, both with modded inf?

It seems to install, but after reboot it doesnt recognize the gpu, control panel isnt there and aero isnt working.. which means, the driver never installed correct. :)

however, most other drivers ive tried works... like 169.25.

    Anyone got any idea?

I'm running laptopvideo2go's 169.28 with modded inf and no issues (vista ult x64). Previous driver was 169.25. I'm even overclocking the sucker.

Make sure you run drivercleaner (in safe mode) after uninstalling your previous drivers before installing new ones.

pretty wierd.. i cant do it with the modded inf.

But now ive used rivatuner to force the gpu id to be desktop 8600. Then the stock drivers without modded inf works fine.

However! i lose quite alot of resolutions :/ like 1360x768 and such.

I didn't (and I don't ever) use any modded INFs (or any softwares). I use the "Have disk" method, and it works great!

hmm interesting... so you just force install it, and it works? gotta test that.

Yes, I extract the files, go to the device manager, select the inf, and advance further.

Indeed that works! very good to know, and less work :p

    However! i still am missing the resolutions mentioned before, only got like 5 possible now, 640x480 - 600x800 - 1024x768 - 1280x800 and 1440x900.

Normally i have like 8-10 different inbetween, and i like those :p anyway to add them?
