    Hey all,

My iTunes collection is around ~2,000 songs. Unfortunately, for some reason, 79 of these songs will not play in iTunes. When in a playlist, they get skipped over. When I double click them to directly play the songs, nothing happens. No error message - they're in the correct directories. If I try to open the mp3s in iTunes, still nothing happens. However, they open up fine in Windows Media Player and Zune.

The only thing all of these "bugged" songs have in common is that they're all mp3s. Other than that, they're different bit rates, sizes, artists, albums, etc. They played in iTunes before - what's the problem now?

Try reinstalling iTunes, that way it will rebuild the database.

I guess I'll have to save the ratings, etc. somehow before I do this? Thanks.
