Anyone having any trouble connecting to the iTunes store today? I can't seem to connect for some reason but all other online programs working fine. I have the latest release.

Everything is working fine on my end. Does some kind of error message pop up, or does it just stop loading?

Where abouts do you live? That might make a difference, I just logged onto mine a few minutes ago and bought an album. Everything went fine for me.

I'm running iTunes 7.0.1 on OSX 10.4.8. It tries for about 30 seconds then the error message reads "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store - Make sure your network connection is active and try again." Obviously my network connection is fine because I'm submitting this message. :)

I had the same problem last night, Cygnus. I tried it just now and it worked fine. Must have been something on their end.

It wasn't the software's fault; Apple must have been updating the store or similar, as every other aspect of it but the online parts worked fine.

On a more personal note, avoid stating things such as "iTunes sucks" like they are facts - it does not make you look particularly good and can cause some interesting and perhaps unwanted reactions from people who think otherwise.
