    i cant use any microsoft product all of the sudden. i cant do anything in powerpoint word nothing. i kepp getting this stupid message

    modification is not allowed because the selection is locked

    i looked it up on the internet but everyone's problem was not as severe. i cant even save a document type or change the protection settings. there is only one thing i can click on and thats open. if i uninstall it and reinstall nothing happens.

    If he's locked out of MS Office, I wonder if any documents are somehow locked. Could he download Open Office and view/modify?

    Then delete MS.

    no this is a paid for version straight from the cd. its the full pacage. and when i open office i literally can do anything but click open

    why would you even blame not getting your paper done in time due to this? you have many options...use a computer in the library or comp lab...if you start letting issues like this become excuses for work not getting done..they u may have other issues

    in relation to the office problem you are having..just uninstall it and reinstall it...it should work fine then
