i'm currently dualbooting windows 7 RC 7100 64bit and vista business 32bit. 7 is great, but i always get random shutdowns and bsods which seldomly happends in vista. so now i want to get rid of it. how do i do this safely?
i have a 120gb win7 partition and a 30gb vista partition. could i do it without reformating my win7 partition?

yep. you would have to edit the bootfiles... bcd or something? (f.e. with vistabootpro, but i haven't used it myself yet).

then, just delete the windows, programs, and all other folders and files on the win7 partition you won't need anymore (but not the ones you want to still have).

    that would work.

edit: heh, you where too fast. still, maybe don't delete, as it now has possibly useful information for someone else.

My friend also had this random shutdowns, hahaha.
He was really pissed because of this but he did just as davepermen said and it worked. My friend is a real computer nerd, he never look up guides and stuff like that to solve a problem :D

No need for all these steps. Just delete the Win 7 partition from Disk management in Vista and join it with the Vista partition.
