Is the windows version in Italian or only the keyboard??

If the keyboard is in Italian you can change that by going to

Control Panel >>> Region and language >>> Keyboard and languages >>> Change keyboards >>> Then add English

And of course remove the italian.

Type "input" into the search box, choose "Change keyboards or other input methods".

New window should open, with Keyboards and languages tab selected. Klick the Change Keyboards -button, select Italian from the dropdown list. If it isn't there, klick the Add button first.

Edit: I'm slow and also confused now. What did was actually wanted? :D

What is the problem with the keyboard input? Some letters are misplaced?

I used an italian laptop before, and for example the @ has a separate button than the 2..and question mark isn't where it should be.

If that's the case then you should fix it as i mentioned above, and make sure you remove the Italian from the options in the "change keyboard" button, otherwise the default will remain Italian and you will have to change it manual from the start bar, right before the clock and notification area.
