Make sure its not being used by any other processes or is or is open, then try uninstalling again.

How are you trying to remove ThreatFire? Add/Remove programs? Specialized uninstall utility? Simply deleting a folder?
I do not suggest taking ahl's advice and shredding the program files as this is not the proper method for removing a program, and will cause you a lot of grief if you don't remove it properly.

Sometimes it will cause probs. - but not always...

It has worked for me as a last resort, when something just wont delete.

ThreatFire is an antivirus. It surely has startup entries, processes registered with the system, and who knows what other hooks into the rest of the system. Simply deleting files it depends on is going to cause these processes to malfunction, and potentially cause serious problems. This is why it is very important to properly remove software, especially Anti Virus, Firewalls, and other security programs.
I can guarantee just deleting the Program Files will cause at least one other problem equal or greater to the current one.
If you're going to do something, you must do it right. Half-assing things is how people get extremely messed up computers. If it works for you, great. But don't tell people to do it an incorrect way that will probably mess things up for them.

Thanks for being a good sport... I'm sorry if I came off as harsh... I would just hate to see this guy unable to install it because it's already installed and they have no "repair" option on their installer, can't remove it because there is no tool and he has no files anymore, and now he's getting errors on startup. Seen this mistake made before, don't want people to have to go through the pains in the future.

Try this tool for removing it.

i tried to uninstall it thru the Control panel (add/remove thing) but its missing the uninstall part, so i went into my folders and tried to manually remove it but i cant, says i need permission

i also cant reinstall it, getting the missing parts cause it says theres already a TF bundle on my machine

That's exactly why deleting the program files is a bad idea... will just dig you deeper into this hole.

    Again, try the removal tool.
