well, i had chrome installed in this new w8 pc and then these weird grey overlays started popping up from no where. as far I tried to understand, these are the ads which being blocked by adblocks and other. they eventually go after a good minutes and so. very irritating.
    any suggestion?

That's not a Chrome bug. It's one of your ad blockers doing what they think they should do.
Disable them and refresh the page, it should load as it was intended by the developers.

This is the crutch of those addons they don't help and worse cause more problem then they were suppose to fix. Rather you should just use a Hosts file like what I use and that will block more pops/ads way faster then your ad blocker will every do.

Addblockers are great, especially ones that let you manually select to block ANYTHING on a web page.
