i recently started using gmail cause they offer pop forwarding. the problem is that i like to use outlook (2000) and have successfully sent and recieved my gmail thru outlook, but after exiting outlook i get a error "the instruction@0x77fe1b8e referenced memory@0x000e2984. the memory could not be read" i know there is nothing wrong with my memory and if i use outlook without checking my gmail account and only check my other non gmail accounts it will exit fine. i would really like to solve this annoyance. anyone with a solution/suggestion.

make sure you have the exact settings; If I remember correctly, there specific ports to be set on older outlook versions (there are nice photo guides in Gmail for this). Btw, is it Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook? I use it with both of these with no problems whatsoever.

I use MS office 2003 but I prefere Outlook express for Gmail because it's lighter and the messages I receive in Gmail are not of great importance.
Probably the POP3 protocol is messing around with the other accounts you have. Try deleting it and redoing it, but I don't know if this will help.
