    Hi All,

I remember i used a program to download track information for both WMP and iTunes. I found it while browsing www.linux.com. I haven't used it in a while and cannot remember the name of the program.

Does anyone know of such a program?

    Thanks.

You mean to correct/add tag information? I was looking for such a thing too but i never found anything competent for Windows, and i'm pretty surprised you found one on "Linux.com". :p

Mp3Tag can do that and it's free. Search Amazon by album and search freedb.com.
For non-free, Tag&Rename. It offers more features. Search by artist name and album, and search lots of amazon sites.
You can also use foobar2000 to search the freedb.com

IDK if it does those pesky DRMed formats too, but WinAmp has an auto tagger that 'listens' to the song and then fills in the tag. Works great with MP3, YMMV with other formats.

That WinAmp auto tagger messed up my entire library once, before you try it back up all your songs in case it wrongly tags them.

I usually use it one song at a time so if I disagree with what gracenote thinks the song is I don't have to accept it. I'd rate it over 99% accurate.
