i have these speakers hooked up to my laptop. they sound good, except the bass is overpowering and the sub does not have a manual control knob.

is there any free software that will allow me to control the level of the bass?

i am aware that mediamonkey/winamp/itunes/whateverIuse has its own equalizer, but it's not enough for when i'm watching things on youtube or playing a game.

    thanks.
