I am trying to make a clone on another hard drive of my vista and xp hard drive. I am using acronis 10 to make the clone. I do the clone in vista and then take the clone hd and boot up. I get errors on vista and xp. I fix vista by doing a startup repair using the vista disc. Now to fix xp i have an error NTLDR is missing. I have been trying dos commands in vista without success. I have easy bcd and disable the vista boot manager and then boot up in xp I then do a repair again in vista to bring it back but lose XP . The two systems have different boot managers. Is it as easy as changing the proper drive letter in easy bcd. Which I finally did but i do not no if some of my dos commands helped to.
